Notes | Harriet Vaughan Cheney was the sister of Eliza Foster Cushing, with her, editor of The Snow Drop magazine. Their niece, Theoda Davis Foster, was also an author. Two unverified titles have been attributed to Harriet Vaughan Cheney: The Sunday School, or Village Sketches (Andover, MA: Flaff & Gould, 1820) and The Broken Flower Pot (Boston, MA: Wait, Greene, 1830) both of which were possibly co-authored by her sister Eliza.
