Dorothy Stacey Brown

Dorothy Stacey Brown was the niece of authors Martha Eugenie Perry and Anne Anderson Perry, who were sisters-in-law. She is not the same person as Dorothy Brown from Winnipeg, who contributed to Canadian Forum and the Winnipeg Free Press.

In 2020, Dorothy Stacey Brown's unpublished mystery novel, Murder Among the Standing Stones, was published on Kindle with a prologue by her daughter, historian Jennifer S.H. Brown, who has also edited Nellie Brown's Garden of Verses: A Long Life Told Through Poetry (2023) the previously unpublished poetry of Nellie Brown, the great-aunt of Dorothy Stacey Brown's husband, Harcourt Brown.
