Elizabeth Shortt

It is not certain whether Elizabeth Shortt, one of the first women to obtain an MD in Canada, and a lecturer in Medical Jurisprudence and Sanitary Science at Women's Medical College, Kingston, ON, published anything during her lifetime. The recently published diary of her trip to Europe, and her treatment within the British medical system in 1911, is of significance in Canadian medical history.
