Blanche Pownall Garrett

While her three texts were published in the 1970s, Blanche Pownall Garrett published one poem in the Canadian Poetry Magazine, "As a Little Child," in June 1946, and the lyrics to two songs: "The Torchbearers" (Western Music, 1948) and "To a Girl on Her Birthday" (Western Music, 1949). It is likely that she is the same person as poet Blanche I. Pownall, who published poetry in a number of periodicals in the 1940s.
